Blogger Jessica Shyba and her family adopted an adorable 7-week-old mutt. They named him Theo. On his third day as part of their family, Theo joined Jessica and her toddler son Beau for afternoon snuggle time. Beau fell asleep and then so did Theo. The next day, he joined in the naptime ritual again. “And so began,” Shyba says, “the most organic and beautiful friendship I have ever witnessed.” Since then, every day Theo waits for Beau to fall asleep and then joins him for his two-hour snooze.
Just saw this new preview clip for the new episode of The Blacklist airing tonight at 10pm EST.
After watching the premiere episode I definitely set my DVR season pass, though I plan on watching this show the night it airs as much as possible. I love the fact that my sister (who lives 4 hrs away) got hooked on the show too, so now we plan on discussing the episodes after they air. And now my brother who watched it a few days after it aired is also into the show, so now I can watch it with him.
OMG, this is absolutely hilarious!!! I love both these comedians and Wanda is killing me here! I probably shouldn’t have watched this in the library during a study break b/c I was definitely having trouble not laughing out loud.
Treadmill Training helps children with Down Syndrome walk earlier
Evidence like this is amazing (do a literature search for articles written by Ulrich for more info)- giving people more opportunities for PRACTICE makes a difference in daily function !
Wow, this is crazy to see someone post about this research study and Dr. Dale Ulrich!! Why is it crazy? Because I totally was a student researcher for Dr. Ulrich during undergrad at University of Michigan and participated in continuations of this original study!!
It was really amazing to see how much improvement these children could make and how it lead to reaching other milestones. Did you know that Dr. Ulrich had these “mini” or baby treadmills made for the study?
Seeing this video totally makes me reflect my journey to becoming a Physical Therapist. When I started working as a student researcher I was a junior in undergrad studying to get into graduate school for PT and now I am a recently graduated physical therapist (DPT) who is studying to take the national boards. :)
